Old Pulteney 8 Year Old Scotch Whisky 700mL

Pulteney located in the fishing town of Wick in the far north of Scotland. Until very recently it was the most Northerly distillery on mainland Scotland until the new but much smaller Wolfburn distillery was built in Thurso. The nose is spicy with sweet aromas - honey, dry grass and herbal notes. Fruity - boiled sweets. Aromatic and spicy. The palate is dry & clean with bracken/gorse elements. Salty, sea tangle with a woody edge. Fruit flavours slowly develop.
