About this product

Bottled at 41% abv, this whisky is finished in Madeira casks to impart a delicate flavour of subtle complexity. Hand crafted to perfection, the unique distillation process at Penderyn produces a single malt whisky that is smooth, light in character and softly golden in colour.

Been a scotch drinker for years, but this one. Three of us sat to taste Scotch, Welsh & Irish Single Malt Whiskys of about $75 in value. Result This One, Welsh first. A very pleasant whisky. There will be more in my cupboard!

I am generally an Irish Whiskey drinker and was looking for something to broaden the range and took a gamble on this. It’s smooth with plenty of subtle tastes. Will be back for more.

I was not aware that Wales was known for its whisky, however I discovered Penderyn Legend a few months back and with out a doubt it is my favourite whisky just made for sipping or mixed. Until now I have stuck with Irish with the third dist
