Kangarilla Road is family owned winery in the notorious McLaren Vale region. Kangarilla Road participate in the Mclaren Vale Sustainability program, and a number of their wines are made from fruit grown in organic or bio-dynamically certified vineyards. This particular Sangiovese displays aromas of spicy black and red cherry compote. Cherries, raspberries and a dash of anise and cardamom combine on the palate. Fine chalky tannins complete this wine carrying an attractive hint of sweet earthiness.

This is gorgeously ripe and perfumed on the nose showing sweet raspberry, mixed spice, almond and floral aromas, followed by a juicy palate that’s finely textured and persistent. It’s refreshing with bright fruit flavours backed by polished tannins, making it immediately appealing and delightfully drinkable. At its best: now to 2024.
