Metala is an iconic name from the perpetual award-winning region of Langhorne Creek in South Australia. Deep red in colour, this wine is a solid blend. Some vibrant Cabernet characters such as currants and blackberries are prominent on the nose, with regional white peppers and some subtle floral notes.

This wine was on special for $15, opened it up and wow, lovely blackberry fruits, vanilla, smooth, powerful and well oaked, slight tannins, 2012 vintage, it just kept on improving hours later, this went down a treat! Absolute bargain.
