McLaren Vale cabernet sauvignon grown on 20 year old vines. All French oak. Well-fruited but fine. Elegance is not a dirty word, but nor is power. A bright light shone into a dark heart. Blackcurrant, saltbush, undergrowth and sweet blackberry. Whispers

Full purple-red; if disease was kept at bay (as it was here) the cool vintage aided the varietal expression, and clever footwork in the winery, made sure every base was covered.
