Forester Estate Sauvignon Blanc has clean aromas with underlying richness and varietal fruit characters of lychee and passionfruit. There's a subtle hint of blackcurrant along with lime and well integrated cedar oak. There is a herbaceous thread through the wine of pea shell and nettle along with underlying wood smoke. I love Aussie SB, and especially from Margaret River. This wine gets a little barrel treatment, and it just elevates it to another level. Worth the money.

This SB is one for someone looking for more complexity than your normal NZ version. There is some typical flavor but also deeper flavours like chilli spice or white pepper. Just a lively delicious take on my favorite white grape

A lovely Sauvignon Blanc. Crisp, full of flavour thanks to the partial barrel fermentation , Very moreish drinking!

I can see I disagree with most reviews, but I didn't like this - in fact I didn't finish the bottle Overall this tasted more like a chardonnay or perhaps a pinot grigio to me, with a strange heavy (musky?) floral taste.
