Mcwilliam'sBarwang Tumbarumba Chardonnay 2012
About this product
Barwang Chardonnay has long been a leader in the commercial Chardy stakes - a real go to wine for many. The McWilliams Barwang Tumbarumba Chardonnay 2012, with 5 years bottle age, shows that they are on the money. In fact, this represents outstanding value. Still vibrant and with lots of living to do the Barwang shows fig, nougat and fleshy yellow peach fruit complexity with a fresh, tingly acidity on the finish.

Remarkably light green-quartz; the bouquet and palate, too, are very youthful, the wine having some time to travel before revealing all, but it has the length and balance to give confidence that this is not far around the corner; grapefruit is the leader of the pack, flanked by green apple and white peach, the oak appropriately subtle.
