About this product

Chateau Phelan-Segur hails from St-Estephe and is renowned for producing relliable, cellarable Cru Bourgeois Bordeaux that capitalise on modern winemaking technique and sound vineyard sources. The estate is set in esteemed company, between Chateau Montrose and Chateau Calon-Segur, near the Gironde River estuary. The wine is a combination of (mostly) Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Only a third of the wood used to mature the wine is news, which results in a fresh fruited, gently oaked wine that should cellar to 20 years.
