About this product

This is the exclusive bottling (and indeed packaged in a uniquely designed bottle) of Peby Guisez's Chateau Faugeres line-and-length St-Emillion red. The 20 hectares of vines are planted to Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, but the 2010 is 100% Merlot and sourced from the oldest plots of vines. Very low yielding, the vines produce fruit of deep, dark concentration, with winemaker influence that polishes the wine to modern and shiny - a sleek wine that can be enjoyed earlier for its velvet plushness, or will cellar well for several decades.
