Château MonbousquetSaint-Émilion 2010
About this product
Gerard Perse, proprietor of Chateau Monbousquet, was the 'god-send' for a maligned estate, turning around the reputation of wines of little interest within years of taking the reigns. The uphill battle came with an adherence to quality fruit growing in vineyard which now comes accompanied with the immeasurable skills of ultra wine consultant, Michel Rolland. The ascension amongst St-Emillion producers is notable, and the wines now easily sit in the dress circle of wines from the appellation. 2010 has given Chateau Monbousquet an extra level of kudos - this is simply a stunning, finely wrought wine.
