The red varieties are split between around 50% Cabernet Sauvignon 25% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc and after picking (with a higher level of reserve fruit included in recent years) are vinified in wooden vats and stainless steel - a fine blend of the traditional and modern. The wine spends time in 50% new oak barrels for maturation.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
