About this product

The estate is positioned in the centre of St-Emillion and under the custodianship of owner Comte von Neipperg - the estate is just shy of 20 hectares and grown to a balance of 55% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Winemaking at Chateau Canon-La-Gaffeliere is steadfast in tradition, looking to fermentation in wooden vats and using only 50% new oak for wine maturation. The wines are full-flavourd, rich and potent, with a brightness of acidity and genlte fruit purity that works charmingly from the exceptional 2010 vintage.
