About this product

This wine of Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte is crafted by lauded consultant winemaker Stephane Derenoncourt. Second labels can often be pale shades of their more sophisticated brethren, but the 2010 vintage has conspired to create a wine of more profound interest and depth of character. The wine is sourced from just under nin hectares of finely farmed fruit off clay-limestone soils. The wine is predominately Merlot with a quarter of Cabernet Sauvignon fruit blended in. Richness and power have been keywords for the wine.
