About this product

In an enviable position across the road from Chateau Haut Brion, Chateau La Mission Haut Brion commands attention for its reputation as a concentrated, powerful, dense and oak-influenced Graves wine that requires exceptional patience to drink at an ideal maturity. The gravel rich soils of the estate vineyards host Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and a smaller portion of Cabernet Franc, but the 2010 is composed of formidably structured Cabernet Sauvignon (62%) and Merlot (27%), with just 1% Cabernet Franc influence. The vintage has proven spectacular for Chateau La Mission Haut Brion - a wine of incredible architecture, brooding intensity and formidable length; a wine to lose in a cellar for significant time.
