About this product

The Tesseron family (also of Cognac fame) have owned and operated Chateau Lafon Rochet since the late 1950s, and continue to advance their 4th Growth status with wines of purity, restraint and elegance. The 2010 release is just under 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot, and continues the 'house style' with a wine of subtle nature, firm tannin and vibrancy of fruit character. These wines tend to need some serious cellaring time to show their best, and an approach would be best left for a decade. The Tesseron family continue to tweak and refine their wine styles and vineyards, with a pursuit of exacting quality.
