About this product

if you were to time travel back to the 19th century, Chateau La Dominique would have been one of the champion estates of St-Emillion. A down turn in attention due to wine quality unfortunately intervened, but the purchase of the estate by Clement Fayat and the introduction of the wily talents of superstar consultant winemaker Michel Rolland has very much turned fortune back around. The wine is produced from quality, fully ripe fruit from vineyards set alongside Pomerol and Cheval Blanc off limestone, sand, clay and gravel rich soils. A powerful wine produced from mostly Merlot, with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon in the mix.
