Château Barde-HautSaint-Estèphe 2010
About this product
Positioned in the north of St-Estephe, Chateau Beau-Site covers 100 hectares of vines of moderate age, set to a mix of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc with a small inclusion of Petit Verdot. This wine is produced with a high portion of Cabernet Sauvignon with the balance set to Merlot, though some inclusions of the other varieties are present. The wine is produced traditionally then sent to oak barrels for 12-or-so months - the percentage of new barrels is 50%. It's a pretty classic example of St-Estephe reds, built for early consumption with some rustic charm in tow.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
