This wine is produced with a high portion of Cabernet Sauvignon with the balance set to Merlot, though some inclusions of the other varieties are present. The wine is produced traditionally then sent to oak barrels for 12-or-so months - the percentage of new barrels is 50%. It's a pretty classic example of St-Estephe reds, built for early consumption with some rustic charm in tow.
