About this product

The Chateau Duhart-Milon is owned by the Rothschild family and is regularly considered the gateway wine for the more expensive Lafite-Rothschild wines. It's a wine that has had increasing interest from drinkers due to the increased attention to the estate from the parent winery, and in some years has been considered a contender to surpass the Lafite-Rotschild wine in terms of excitement and quality. This is a vineyard planted to 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc, with a lower usage (40%) of new oak in the winemaking. It's a compelling wine of esteem and quality, but entry is via the ground floor for many.
