About this product
The white wines of Chateau Domaine De Chevalier Blanc come with affirmed notoriety, and born from one of the few estates to produce both exceptional red and white wines. This white is a blend of mostly Sauvignon Blanc with a lesser part of Semillon, crafted by reputable consultant winemaker Stephane Derenoncourt. The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented in all new oak casks. The wine matures for 18 months on lees, gaining complexity. toastiness and decidedly interesting texture - this aging is the longest for any dry white wine from Bordeaux. An exceptional release in 2010.

A backward style of wine with notes of honeyed pears, subtle citrus, candle wax, orange zest and lemon butter, this medium to full-bodied, rich wine has terrific acidity and a long, long finish. Anticipated maturity: 2020-2050.
