Château De MalleSauternes 2010 375mL
About this product
The Château de Malle was owned for three centuries by the Lur Saluces family, who also happened to be the previous owners of Château d'Yquem - handy provenance. The estate of Château de Malle is now owned by Comtesse de Bournazel who has seen the fine-tuning of the complex wines of her estate. The wines are produced from predominately Semillon with a lesser portion of Sauvignon Blanc, hand-picked in tranches before being fermented and sent to mostly old oak barrels for 30 months maturation. The powerful, rich Sauternes that results is imbued with a sandalwood-like complexity and yet retains great vitality.
