Rightly regarded as one of the finest cabernets Coonawarra produces, time in our cellar has brought this icon to somewhere near its peak. Laden with lavish dark fruit - mulberries, black cherries, and tinged with mint, licorice and gorgeous vanilla French oak, it's everything one could expect of a wine of such high repute. Opulently flavoured, yet retaining balance and finesse; reserve this for special occasions.

Deep garnet, bricking; the bouquet offers dried leather, crushed leaf and a lavish level of new oak; the palate shows good concentration and depth of fruit, ample fine-grained tannins and a long charry oak conclusion; drying out and despite the price tag, should be enjoyed from release in the short to medium term.
