Maker’s 46® actually begins as fully matured Maker’s Mark. And then we begin the inventive, handcrafted finishing process using seared, French, oak staves that offers more complexity and creates a bourbon with a deeper, richer copper tone; and big, bold flavours of vanilla, oak caramel
and spice – yet retains the easy drinkability of Maker’s Mark. And the 46? That’s the number of experiments with different wood varieties and levels of char it took to achieve the perfect balance.
