Vintage Port

Cockburn''s only ''declares'' a Vintage in outstanding years when the weather has been perfect throughout the viticultural year and the winemakers and tasters identify exceptional qualities in the wines. Cockburn''s Vintage Port is made primarily from the very finest wines of its own Quinta dos Canais vineyard. The wine will lie in wooden vats for up to 2 years, after which it is bottled - unfiltered - and will then mature in bottle for at least 20 to 25 years. This Vintage Port gives aromas of wild berry fruit and fragrant floral scents. The palate displays a wide array of flavours and sensations, ending with a long and persistent finish.
