Dry, Medium Bodied style of SangioveseAlfredo is a tribute to the vision and passion instilled in us by Alfredo Nugan, who emigrated from Spain in 1940 with a clear vision of his family's new life in Australia.
This Sangiovese is sourced from Victoria's premium cool climate region King Valle. After fermentation, the wine was matured in seasoned barrels for 12 months before bottling. As is typical of this Italian variety, ripe aromas of cherry with hints of mocha, dark chocolate and earth are followed by a savoury palate of spicy plum and raspberry with well-integrated tannins.
