Càirdeas Scotch Whisky 700mL

Laphroaig Càirdeas was bottled to commemorate the 18th anniversary of Friends of Laphroaig and is a unique non-chill filtered single malt that combines the original whisky used to create Càirdeas (friendship in Gaelic) along with a newer Laphroaig spirit that has been fully matured in quarter casks. It has been rumoured that the original Càirdeas is a 50/50 blend of new spirit aged intensely for 7 years and another 'special' whisky the craftsmen at Laphroaig have been keeping aside that had been maturing for between 13 and 21 years. The result is a truly unique and yet trademark Laphroaig malt that displays all the typical iodine, sea spray and peat along with a vanillin smoothness that is unsurpassed.
