Deep red-purple hue; the rich bouquet of plum and blackberry leads into a supple and plush palate bringing a touch of dark chocolate into play. All the French oak inputs (two- to three-year-old hogsheads, and/or planks in tanks) are deliberately kept low. The tannins on the finish are soft and ripe, and cellaring isn''t needed
