About this product

The New Zealand Whisky Company are the forefront of the revival of the New Zealand whisky industry. The flag-bearer is The New Zealand DoubleWood Whisky. Aged for 15 years in both American oak and French Pinot Noir barrels, this new world whisky has delicate floral and fruit notes with a hint of toffee on the nose followed by a extraordinary explosion of flavours on the palate. A creamy malt texture with subtle vanilla characters all finished with a hint of dried fruits and nuts.

Absolutely beautiful to drink, 10/10, I also have a 8 yr, a 21 yr and a 23 yr single malt from New Zealand, just holding on to for that special occasion

This pushes the boundaries of whisky flavours - in a nice way. It's creamy, sweet and luscious with lots of exquisite fruity, spicy flavours. This is a moreish, go to drink, bursting with flavour and body.
