Sitting high in the Adelaide Hills, Sidewood hand craft single vineyard wines of the utmost complexity. Their Chardonnay is made up of four French Chardonnay clones from the Ashwood vineyard and shows a crisp front palate with lifted layers of aromatic fruit. Each clone provides a unique flavour profile to the end result and delivers a wine displaying complex pear, peach & fig fruit flavours with some lovely nutmeg and sage spice notes.

Light bodied white wines have a water-light mouthfeel. Often very pale to light colour.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Styled to be most respectful to the best that Hills fruit can offer, sourced across the best estate and grower blocks. Multi-clonal and cleverly steered through a range of barrel sizes (25% new). It's all about crisp, ripe stone fruit and subtle citrus-focused chardonnay with delightfully balanced oak sitting in support, developing a creamy palate while holding excellent length. Great value.
