About this product

This limited release Teeling Poitin Irish Whiskey is triple distilled in traditional copper pot stills and made from the finest Irish Barley. On the nose, cooked barley, honey, fresh bread and forest fruits with rich fruit, spice and cereal on the tongue. A delicate soft, dry finish. Enjoy neat, with water or as part of cocktails.

Most common drawback I'm seeing: Not a whiskey. This is correct. Poitin shares a lot of the crafting methods of a whiskey, but it's young and unaged. Teeling don't call it a whiskey, it's Poitin. That'd be like calling Vodka whiskey. Nic

I had some poitin last year, just the one, it was from tas, and thought never again, but I gave this one a go . Glad I did something different ,give it a try it'll surprise you.

I should have taken note of the bottle size. Great drink taken a sip at a time, but I must admit being disappointed with the size of the bottle when it was delivered, especially considering the price.
