A classically reserved, long-term Tahbilk wine of balance and structure. Its spicy fragrance of white pepper, red berries and plums reveals undertones of cassis, older cedary oak and a hint of musk. Long and fine-grained, it?s elegant and complete, delivering a lean, firmish presence of tightly closed blackberry, plum and redcurrant fruit framed by drying, chalky tannins. It finishes long and savoury, with a hint of iodide.
