About this product

This remarkable Geelong Pinot sourced from the Mooroobool Valley has excellent depth and a really good briary, complex gamey Pinot character. Geelong through and through but with Maraschino cherry and effortlessly long, refined finish. Wonderful characters of truffle and earth give great support to the vibrant and fresh strawberry notes. There is a lingering, soft acidity that makes the wine supremely enjoyable when paired with game dishes. Incredible value.

Soft, long, slightly truffly, slightly mouldy strawberry pinot - much more Burgundian in style than usual for Australia. Hence why some people don't like it. Aussies seem to prefer the fruity, fuller PNs - great, keeps the price of this gem
