Malt Masters' Edition Sherry Cask Scotch Whisky 700mL

The Glenfiddich Malt Masters' Edition was created to honour the 6th Malt Master in Glenfiddich's history - Brian Kinsman. Not only to honour the man, but also to celebrate the exceptional skills and pioneering techniques that Brian has acquired over his tenure as the Malt Master at the world's most awarded distillery. After taking over from David Stewart in 2009, Brian has continued his journey of discovery which has seen a succession of special malt releases, much like the much sought after Snow Phoenix. This particular malt is the first ever Glenfiddich malt to be matured in two different casks; 6 to 8 years in traditional casks and then 4 to 6 years in Sherry casks. The result is a palate of zingy sherbet, which slowly turns to spicy and tempting flavours of plum and cherry with hints of toasted almonds and wedding cake.
