Ardbeg Corryvreckan Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a very limited special release from the Ardbeg distillery which will slowly entrap you in a whirlpool of aromas and flavours all contained within this turbulent force of a 700mL bottle. Named after the famous Corryvreckan Whirlpool that lies off the Islay north coast where only the bravest of souls dare venture, the Ardbeg Corryvreckan has swirling aromas and torrents of deep, peaty, peppery taste that lurk beneath the surface of this beautifully balanced dram. Only available for a very limited time - a must for all Islay lovers. Cauldron of the speckled seas.

Smoke, salt, seaweed, ginger, citrus, ash. Infinitely fascinating. No sherry cask to mask it. Uncompromisingly pure glorious peaty whisky.

Grab a fresh atlantic salmon with your bear hands, slap it straight into your glass, add ice and you've got yourself a fine drop of Ardbeg. Would recommend.

Nose: Peat that fades somewhat in the glass. Strong cinnamon. Seaweed. Orange. Taste: Peat, pepper, cereal/malt. Good body. Finish: Sweet vanilla. Dark chocolate. Fruit - pear? Overall: Islay with outstanding depth & complexity. Not cheap b
