HenschkeCyril Henschke Cabernet Sauvignon 2008
About this product
Henschke Cyril blossomed into a stunning wine as a result of the incredible 2008 vintage. Complex aromas of sweet, ripe dark cassis, plum and violet are supported by cedar, tar and exotic spice nuances. The rich, lush palate is textural and savoury with flavours of plum and blackcurrant; a beautiful palate structure and
tannin balance with a long, fine finish.

Medium red-purple; the bouquet is a little reluctant to part with its secrets, but the palate has no such scruples, with its stream of juicy cassis and blackcurrant that courses through the length of the medium-bodied palate, both oak and tannins playing a positive role. Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot/Cabernet Franc.
