Don't let the price fool you, if you know that peat and smoke can be smooth as well, you would love it. It is not as good as smokehead, but it is what it promises to be, a rounded, smooth, taste of the sea indeed!

falls far short of my expectation. nowhere near to what should be expected from an alleged Islay antecedent./ quite bad to be hones.

Tastes a lot like a young Bowmore with lemon and a little smoke. Well worth trying at the price, but don;t expect an Islay peat monster.

An Islay conjures up expectations, this one doesn't make it. Rather spend an extra $15+ or so and get the taste that pleases every time.
