Utilising traditional methods like hand picking, gentle crushing and open top fermenters, the Lake's Folly Cabernet is a lovely hark back to an old Australian 'Claret' style. The 1992 Cabernets was borne out of a vintage that was drought affected from the year before. The result however was a wine of intense concentration and fruit ripeness. Picked a little earlier than most years, flavours of dark berry and chocolate are a trademark.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
