Bright crimson-purple; sourced from the single vineyard whose name it bears, the wine spent 18 months in a mix of new and used French oak barriques; it has excellent structure to the medium-bodied palate, and the balance between redcurrant and more savoury/olive fruit is strengthened by the oak.
