HenschkeCyril Henschke Cabernet Sauvignon 1990
About this product
Named after Cyril Henschke, one of Australia's outstanding winemakers and pioneers of the wine industry, the Cabernet was produced as a tribute and is now one of Australia's most sought after wines, being labelled under the 'Excellent' classification by Langtons. The blend of the 1990 comprises of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon bringing a complex and powerful flavours of intense black fruit, spice and dried herb with the 5% Merlot adding backbone and hints of berry sweetness to the palate. The wines once fleshy, grainy tannins have all but settled in it's maturity, making it ready to be enjoyed now.
