Kay Brothers Amery VineyardsBlock 6 Shiraz 1994
About this product
Frederick and Herbert Kay planted the Block 6 vineyard in 1892 with a myriad of varieties on a bed of remarkably varied soils. This natural diversity has allowed Kay Brothers to produce a concentrated masterpiece from this vineyard without any real need to play around in the winery. The vineyard does all the work. The 1994 Block 6 is a terrific example of aged McLaren Vale Shiraz. Brick red in colour now with wonderful secondary characters of leather, spice and earth.
