An attractive amalgam of regionality and variety with skilful oak handling lifting the bar. Distinctly Pyrenees and distinctly shiraz on the bouquet, with upfront aromas of minty leaf, red-berry fruit and dark plum. A deeper layer provides subtle white pepper and almost perfumed oak. Just shy of full-bodied, the palate is flavoursome and long, seamless and well tuned.

Good intense, spicy flavours in the cherry/dark berry spectrum, this builds well in the mouth with supple flavoursome fruit, a nice acid line and lingering gentle spices on the finish.
