Vintage 2015
95 points Halliday Wine Companion
Under various incarnations, Mount Avoca’s Pyrenees cabernet sauvignon has provided excellent wines over the years, and this is a very good release. Lovely varietal bouquet; blackcurrant, leafy, dusty and cedary. Well matched French oak is right on the money. Perfect medium-to-full cabernet weight on the palate with depth and length of flavour and elegance of form.
