The Hawthorn Brewing Co. Pilsner draws inspiration from the famous lager regions of Europe. With Pilsner Malt as the base and just a hint of light Crystal Malt, it pours a crystal clear gold colour. Cool fermentation with an imported yeast strain and a lengthy cold storage ensures a very clean & crisp palate, while the use of noble German hops mid way through the boil introduces a delectable floral flavour. Finally, they dry hop a fresh Czech variety for a delicate spicy aroma.

I tried this for the first time last week and it was so smooth and full of flavour without any bitter after taste. I can't wait to go to Dan and get myself a carton.

Read the blurb about the brewer liking euro pilsners. i can say that this is a gold pilsner , not too far off the gold standard urquell. Would buy at full price, nice taste all through the drinking!
