With 60% Cabernet and 40% Shiraz, the combined flavours have been brought together by the subtle influences of 10 months in 20% new and seasoned French oak. Cabernet and Shiraz grapes were harvested and fermented and aged separately. Each component was fermented in stainless steel tanks and pressed to tanks before racking off into barrels for malolactic fermentation and maturation. The Cabernet and Shiraz components were blended and fined and filtered before bottling.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Purple red. Classic Cabernet dried herb, bayleaf with blackcurrant melding with white pepper spice and blackberry, plum of the Shiraz. The palate has lovely drying tannins to balance the fruit juiciness. Plush and rich, both grapes working in perfect harmony - Ebony and Ivory. A producer we need to know more about.
