Bundaberg Master Distillers Dark Oak Rum is another limited edition rum released by Australia's iconic distillery, Bundaberg. Made with hand selected rum reserves that were finished in charred American Oak barrels. The idea behind this latest Master Distillers' edition was inspired by the local cooper who created a set of unique heavily hand-charred American oak barrels for the Bundaberg team to try. The result is a dark rum with enticing oak aromas with hints of molasses, caramel and raisins. If you're a Bundaberg lovers or collectors, be sure to get in before stocks run out!

a very well rounded rum

a very well rounded amber rum, bold taste followed by a great full body and rounded off with caramel after taste . mixer of choice , ice and soda water, alternative could be cola and ice.

Dark Oak packs a little more punch than the previous 3 MDC releases and it certainly delivers the promised charred oak when taken neat or on ice. If you like adding mixers to your rum this might be something different.

Got this for free off a mate.. It basically tastes like the cheap up that bundy has... You might as well just buy two bundy u.p bottles.. More of your friends can join in then.
