The weather in Byron Bay never really gets too wintery, yet the expert crew at Stone & Wood have always wanted to make an ale that was more suited to the winter months, yet could equally be drunk all year round. The Jasper Ale was born and has taken inspiration from German Alt, American Amber Ale and an English Brown Ale styles. Jasper Ale is deep red, has a rich malt character and is well balanced with a firm spicy hop bitterness.

Went to Stone and wood brewery and tried to get a schooner of it but they ran out. I bought a carton whilst I was there. Now I know why the ran out. This is a delicious beer. I recommend to any red ale lovers.
