Our 2011 ‘Margaret’ is a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot and 14% Malbec. The colour is intense deep red with crimson hues. The nose shows layers of toasty French oak, blackcurrant, mulberry and Satsuma plum. The palate is mouth filling, dense and layered, with the flavours mirroring the nose. The wine finishes with polished ripe tannins and great length.

Clear purple-crimson; as usual, Woodlands manages to combine elegance with intensity, length with finesse; there is a core of red berry fruits within a savoury, black olive outer skin; tannins and oak are balanced and totally integrated.
