Buckeye Dark Rum is aged in oak barrels that produces a rich, exotic and complexly flavoured Rum from its ancestral home, the Caribbean. Flavours of banana and vanilla, Buckeye is named after the Caribbean Buckeye Butterfly, common throughout this region.

I bought the rum for a cocktail, it tasted quite smooth, not sweet considering it has vanilla in it. Could be drank on its own on ice. Would buy it again.

I love sipping dark rum. Got this to cook with though, in a dessert. Absolutely foul smell, tastes even worse than it smells. Thought it may need to cook off and improve so used it in dessert and ruined it. Will stick to Bundaberg for cooki
