With 500 million year-old red Cambrian Soil at his disposal, Tom is able to handcraft a wine that isn't drowned out by the white noise of winery production, but rather a wine that distinctly shows the nuances and subtle variations that site and time can provide. Destemmed into open fermenters before being transferred into fine grained French oak (20% new), the Block B is the purest expressions of Heathcote Shiraz available.
