This is a beautiful Shiraz - much like the Penley winery estate itself in Coonawarra, which takes its name from a combination of those famous wine/spirit families - Penfolds/Tolleys. Cannot go wrong with this quality wine with a deep velve

I was familiar with the wine and had previously enjoyed it as a good value, 'full-in-the-mouth' style. To then be able to purchase it at the price offered made 'good value' become 'great value'.

This shiraz is everything I expected in a Coonawarra. Balanced tannin and a voluptuous mouth feel. In short it is a delicious shiraz. I wish I'd bought more. At $15 it was an absolute steel.
