The Minervois region of warm Southern France produces some of the most concentrated red wines on the planet. Also some of the most outstanding value. This hand-made treasure a case in point - a classic marriage of Carignan (a regional treasure), Shiraz and Grenache Noir from a 7th generation family estate. As dark as the night sky, this complex slurpable wine is almost impossibly crammed full of black fruits, black olive, cured meats, ironstone and negroni-like bitterness. We dare any lover of big soft reds not to be utterly seduced. Our Value French Red Discovery of 2018 - hands down!
